Shiitake, Lion's Maine, Oyster and Pioppino mushrooms are grown in historical Concord, Massachusetts from second flush mushroom blocks provided by our friends at Fat Moon Farm, another fantastic woman-owned business. By second flush, we mean that once Fat Moon Farm grows one round of mushrooms (a "flush), these blocks are considered "spent". But, that does not mean you can't grow a few more mushrooms from these blocks and turn them into something delicious as we do in Concord.
